How to find Franz Joseph bridge? It’s relatively easy. Follow state road from Ložišće to Nerežišće and you will see a sign with title “Bridge of Franz Joseph” with arrow. Just follow that sign and walk 10 minutes, and that’s it.
The bridge was built in 18 century during Austrian rule on the island, so the islanders named it after Franz Joseph as a sign of affection. Bridge is located next to Ložišća. Thanks to local actions and efforts, several climbing locations are created in the vicinity of the bridge.
